“Virology: Essays for the Living, the Dead, and the Small Things In Between” is one of my favorite science books of all time. It is a beautiful blend of COVID-19 memoir, queer theory, and the study of viruses. His latest behavior — gleefully celebrating his ex-wife's breakup and harassing her former partner — is standard post-separation abuse. I recommend following @custodypeace to learn more about how this dynamic functions.
I created this list of questions to help folks deconstruct their thinking around domestic abuse and r*pe. I hope it's helpful.
